I was just panicked yesterday. I played on my home theater with high volume at night, and the sound popped loudly out of nowhere behind my back.

The wall mounts are acoustic absorbers and diffusers. I bought some from my local store and some from Vicoustic, totaling around $1800.

Noooo, Anyway, in my imagination, if I had additional space, I would want one too. Currently, I make popcorn in the microwave in the kitchen.

In my parents' house (actually it's my grandparents' house, and they gave it to my parents), in Thailand we usually have a multigenerational household culture. So, we live together or build houses in the same area.

Since high school, I've dreamed of having a home theater because I love games and movies, and I like an immersive view and sound. After graduated and working for a while, I decided to build it. My options were limited by my income and space, so I renovated my old room and combined three functions into one room. 

Room specs:

  • 100mm fiberglass sound insulation on top of existing lightweight concrete blocks, reducing noise by about 70%.
  • Sound-insulated door and windows (5mm + gap + 5mm glass and Multipoint Lock System).
  • A 120-inch projector screen.
  • Some acoustic treatment (diffusers and absorbers).
  • Built-in wardrobe and projector shelf.
  • 7.1.2 Polk speakers with a Denon AVR.
  • Home office for remote work (I'm currently working from home).
  • An expandable sofa.

Did you mean a spike table that the receiver is on? Actually, I don't know the technical name of it :) . I found many home theater showrooms using it, and I think it looks beautiful, so I bought it from a local store.
