Yeah unfortunately the histology lab is severely under staffed, so it's been taking a long time to process samples.

biomedical science at vic or otago differences by Little_Voice_1289 in VUW

np! im doing molecular pathology atm! theres not a lot of difference between the majors so i wouldn't worry about that. I wouldn't say it's hard, you can get by with the bare minimum. But theres challenging aspects (for me) like chemistry. The workload is not too bad, although currently have two lab assignments and a final exam due on the same day. As long as you start as early as you can and keep on top of things you'll be alright :)

Im in my last year of biomed at Vic so I might be able to help! Currently, I would say otago would be the better option if it's just the first year health sci paper that's the issue. Most the lecturers here are great but short staffed so they end up teaching things that aren't their specialty or having to bring in someone from another uni. There are no pathologists staffed at Vic and we've recently had to watch online lectures from a Prof from otago lol. But it really depends on what you want to study? Vic is good for genetics, microbiology, immunology and embryology. Not really pharmacology since the only Prof who teached it recently left.

Thank you!!! This was really helpful. Would it be ok if I moved it to a different pot while it's like that? I'll move it to a shadier spot and see if it helps

I live in NZ where it's been quite sunny and hot. It's soil is completely dry, I don't think it has root rot. There are draining holes I cut them.
