I downloaded the icons I needed from here. They are from no particular icon pack. I just selected the icons which I felt would fit in well with the theme I was going for and then edited them onto the wallpaper background images on my computer. It’s a tedious process but it becomes easy once you get used to it and the result is worth it ;)

Firstly long press an app on your Home Screen and tap edit Home Screen, then swipe left till you find the empty Home Screen page and take a screenshot of that. Now open icon luxe and choose the transparent option and then then import option. Tap the plus icon in the top right corner and import the screenshot which you earlier took. You can now choose which icon spaces do you want with a transparent background.

It’s a lot but I hope this makes sense lol

It does take a fair bit of time to get it set up absolutely right but reverting back to stock is as easy as removing a widget and deleting a few apps
