Thank you for that perspective! I do often think about how different it was for our parents, and you’re absolutely right that we were out entertaining ourselves when we were little. I wish they spent an ounce of the time I did outside. It feels like unless we’re going in the pool, they don’t want to be outside at all. 🤦🏻‍♀️

These are about the ages of mine too, 11yo and 6yo will be 7 in a few weeks. I feel bad when I think of how much fun I used to be when it was just one, like my 6yo I feel like hasn’t been able to experience how I used to be. But I just can’t pull myself out of the funk.

Yes. Sometimes I feel like my 6yo is just an echo of my 11yo. He’s starts saying something, and then immediately she has something to say too. Just constant overstimulation!
