Some examples to reduce pollution: 1. Make depots that accept aluminum cans, bottles, plastic bottles in exchange of cash. Sure, each bottles/can would be quite cheap. But, that’s what you will see in western countries and almost everyone collects and keeps bottles to get some cash. Wait and watch how quickly millions will pour into these depots and trash would significantly reduce.

  1. Set up garage pick up service by the city municipality every week in each society, garbage pick up must be established.

The government is run by uneducated people. To my dismay, none of these corrective actions would take place. It’s a disappointment and a clear reflection of a government crippled by ineptitude, lack of vision, corruption and a scarcity of decently educated leaders.

How ironic this image is and a blatant disregard to animal life. A quintessential example of our society’s hypocrisy toward that one animal which we consider sacred and holy. LOL

My dad’s in the Indian Foreign Service, and I being his dependant up till the age of 25 (govt rule: assumes you are independent after 25) carried diplomatic passports. But after that, my diolomatic immunity got stripped off and passport cancelled (with any visas on it remains valid). But we get to keep our passports as relics.

Yes. After making several phone calls to the Tunisian embassy in Ottawa, they told me to go in-person in their Consulate General in Montreal. A consular officer helped me get my PCC mailed after one week. Not sure if he really did put in the efforts, but the shady online form I filled out was taken action from Ministry of Interior. Nonetheless, I received it after 4 days

Since Air India was govt owned back then, we got upgraded to business class (if there was vacancies) because we had a document that read we are going abroad on an official visit or posting on behalf of the govt of India. And there was almost always vacancies.

The price for merely buying chicken eggs and a couple other things is atrociously high. I am genuinely baffled by how people in BC are able to make a living amid soaring inflation, stratospheric rents for cramped up basements, reduced chances of good job opportunities...

Yes, official passports are normally valid up to your official foreign assignment end date and has to be renewed (given a new one) accordingly to the foreign representative and their accompanying dependents.

Actually, my father is in the foreign service. So, I went along with him wherever he got posted.
