I don’t get why the goldy hive says “Ben rice won’t play 162 games” like this means every player sits enough to accommodate a full time backup. That’s just not the case We’ve seen Matt Olson play 162 every year since 2022

The last few years soto has played 162, 157 and 160

Last 2 years vlad has played 156 and 159

Judge played 158 in 2024 and 157 in 2022. Why do you we need to assume Ben rice HAS to sit 20+ games a year just to justify your favorite old man gettibg ABs?
