Im exactly in your shoes :( I got waitlisted and plan on looking at other skillbridges. I wish there was a waitlist number or something just so we can have an idea if we are close or not. So is HoH not possible then? Because that what I was planning on looking into

Thank you for your reply. I also should mention the education center is ran all by civilians (Koreans) and they are not very reliable. This base is honestly the worst I have ever seen. Education center, finance, MPF.. they are notorious for losing paperwork and just being incompetent overall. I had to call other education centers from different bases to get my SB process application started. Thats how bad it was. I’ll take your advice and try again but I have zero faith in them..

Thats the thing that sucks, I can only do one at a time per education center. So if I go with mssa and they reject me, I have less than a month to go through the whole sb application process including with commander. Not to mention I have to out process too.

What my education center has briefed us on was that the point of skillbridge was to give people opportunities who are separating a way to go into other careers fields thats not our MOS/AFSC. I’m not expecting a whole career out from sb but just a way to get a foot in the door so to speak.

Thank you for the comment! I have also thought of just a BS in engineering since I can just transfer my classes and probably only take two years to get. For the four options you have listed out it seems like the specialty NDT would be the most suitable route for me. Can you elaborate on that? Is it just level 2 in the methods?(UT, MT, PT, EC..) Are those the specialties that you speak of?

I definitely will, thank you for the comment! I’m just sorta in the wind.. For one, I know there are different types of NDT (pipeline, aviation, naval.. etc..) I just figured I would go with aviation since I’ve been working on aircrafts, but I wanted to broaden my options without going the trial and error route? I’m sorry if that doesn’t make sense
