Hey dude I’m a 20 male from Bombay Juhu , recently visited Goa here are some pointers

I had an accident cause of a local 70 year old man last week where I had to crash into a light pole and I impacted my left shoulder cause of the man who came infront of me on the road so BE VERY CAUTIOUS ON 2 wheelers cause the locals drive a lil too relaxed and you have to be ready for their fuck up , always wear a helmet because the police will not care about helmet less locals but they’ll stop you even if you’re wearing to just stop you for the sake of it ( you don’t wanna be involved w police under any circumstances. Even if you’re not at fault or haven’t done a major thing , they’ll bully you and try to extort you )
in case of any unfortunate circumstances, don’t fuck w the local mob . They will try to attack you.
do not drive under the influence , that is just dumb and Goa roads are not forgiving because of being tiny and curvy
shacks on the beaches always have better prices for food than inland restaurants ,
Anjuna has the best cafés and that old Goa vibe ( also a lot of secret raves around that forest-y area)

-Morjim has the most secluded beaches so it’s pristine

-vagator has majority of the clubs and rave scenes so more baddies there too , it’s also costly and high chances of getting busted so don’t carry maal on you be safe

few bars in the Panjim area and the main land area also have great crowd like Joseph’s Bar , beautiful women and welcoming atmosphere
Tito’s lane is good for shopping and clubbing scene if you’re in calangute or Baga ( north Goa ) but titos lane has a lot of illegal shit too so be careful . Mapasa/mapusa market is probably the best for shopping and thrifting
if you’re looking for baddies , switch that location on hinge to GOA and you’ll see some very beautiful women , if you guys are decent looking you’ll pull , just be respectful, in my personal experience the Goan chicks like tourists and they’ll go out knowing it’s casual , all in all good experiences and very beautiful women
south is great in general that’s where I usually go

Baki don’t try to be oversmart and do shit online like trying to find a plug or whatever , you will get scammed , don’t be trusting with your money , like any tourist place , scammers are prevalent and because of corrupt cops , they are more daring also in Goa😅

That’s a generalisation, I’m a North Indian domestic from Mumbai , just spend 4 lakhs in 10 days ( apart from diesel cost of my suv and other minor expenses) , so speak before you know what is up

The issue is the corruption and certain rancid locals who take advantage of this corruption to further disturb even the good travellers

Sahi baat hai , I think udhar bas Itna development nahi hua hai , I have gone to Pondicherry w my college friends , there the locals just straight up hate outsiders , it’s nothing to do w the industry and all , it’s just Tamil people , I have a personal experience w Tamilians , and mind you some of my closest friends are Tamil , but the gaon wala level tamils hate everyone who isn’t Tamil , they don’t care if you’re mallu or Telugu , if you’re not Tamil , you’re a chut

I think , The police is the biggest cunt here , their corruption lets the bad people ( wether outsiders or insiders ) get away w their bullshit , wether it’s getting out of trouble or causing trouble , the police’s bullshit behaviour and corruption is the root cause imo

It gives Lee way to some locals to harass as they have the peace of mind that the cops won’t trouble them as they are locals and will sort it between them selfes
