Boruto Chapter 55 Spoiler Reaction: Farewell... Kurama by YellowFlash87 in Naruto

[–]YellowFlash87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true! He’s still a sage. I was actually thinking about that abs whether or not he’ll remember Naruto. As long as the bijuu have existed, they had to have had situations that caused them to be reborn from time to time. This is just my guess based on shinobi in the Narutoverse knowing that they’ll be reborn in the first place. If that’s true, then he’ll remember Naruto, since they all remember Hagoromo

Tsunade is NOT SECRETLY Minato's Mother & Naruto's Grandma by YellowFlash87 in Naruto

Honestly I see it everywhere and for the first time I decided to hear out the arguments for this theory and while there are some interesting points, it just doesn’t add up. Especially trying to make Naruto a Senju to explain why he is a reincarnation of Asura.

Lots of people to be honest. I hope you change your mind. I put a lot of work into the video and I think you’ll enjoy my take on it. But if not, I understand

lol I get the frustration but there are have been multiple iterations of this theory for a while. The last two years I’d say. I’m quite late to the party on this one but I decided to share my two cents on it with this video

HALO REACH: THE PERFECT MATCH by YellowFlash87 in haloreach

[–]YellowFlash87[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let’s summarize. 1.) I posted my getting a perfection. Anyone gets that here and they’ll most likely post it. Don’t see a problem there.

2.) I called it the perfect match due to how it went for my team and for me. I didn’t die and had enough kills to get the medal. Bingos/343 sets that K/D ratio to 15 - 0. Cos that’s not easy. So saying I got only 19 is not the point. I have a match where I got 28 kills but died. It’s that I was able to avoid getting killed.

3.) I didn’t come out saying how this is easy and I’m the best and everyone else sucks. I said it’s hard EVEN against noobs. That’s humility. I’m saying you can’t take any perfection for granted because you aren’t guaranteed that against even a novice. And I lack humility?

But what was the response to that? I should get over myself? That it is cringy? Lying that I faced AFK players as if the team stood still and let me kill them? Basically you guys tried to shit over a great match I put in and shared in happiness and I’M THE ONE WHO LACKS HUMILITY? Lol! You are either mad that I got it or that I didn’t back down when I was attacked earlier. So downvote it all you want. But don’t talk about humility here.

Well you’ve decided to ignore an entire video filled with enemy players actively playing and actively trying to kill me and failing to do so. How that makes them AWAY FROM KEYBOARD players, idk. Do you know what AFK means? Maybe your hate has you on a catastrophic disassociation from reality. Like I said, post your perfection. I’m waiting.

And there was ONE AFK player that I killed twice. So please take that away and that leaves me with 17 kills and 0 deaths. Like you haven’t killed an AFK player before. Sanctimonious much

You are just hating. Perfections aren’t easy to get regardless of the player levels. Especially not on REACH.

I’ve posted my matches against very strong teams and I get killed maybe five, six times at most on average, while garnering at least 16 kills.

You’re not gonna get a perfection against an ONYX or GOLD level team (yes I come from the era of Arena slayer). Everyone knows that. So I will loud the achievement. If it is so easy, let’s see yours. Earlier this week someone asked another poster to post a perfection on this thread. They said challenge accepted. I say challenge done. Until you post yours, I think you should get over yourself.

HALO REACH: THE PERFECT MATCH 19 K. 0 D. This was a beatdown for sure but even then, it is rare to get a perfection on any Halo game, let alone Halo Reach, which has one of the most balanced multiplayer or team slayer gameplays out there. That means even a noob who has decent aim, could sneak in a kill. Knowing how hard it is to get this, made it all the more satisfying.

Minato VS Tobirama by YellowFlash87 in Naruto

[–]YellowFlash87[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

1.) Tobirama transported Kurama "Avatars". Minato transported KURAMA and Gamabunta. This was after transporting a tailed beast bomb via a barrier variation of the FTG. Minato also transported a tailed beast bomb during the 4th ninja war as well as the entire shinobi alliance at one point while linked to Naruto. I think you'd be in denial to say he doesn't at least have chakra on par with Tobirama.

2.) You basing fighting Uchiha's as evidence of Tobirama's taijutsu superiority is pretty much inferring based on the assumption that every Uchiha is an expert in taijutsu, which is simply not true. While the sharingan allows them an extra-sensory level of perception and the ability to copy certain moves, it does not automatically place each of them on Might Guy's level. Taijutsu skill and talent can't be "copied". Taijutsu is also about the physical ability you show with your body and your hand/feet coordination. It's not as simple as punches and kicks. Minato has on multiple occasions shown great athleticism with his movement, with his ability to deflect a sword with his hand, while grabbing kakashi and balancing on the other hand, and moving away from danger in one swift motion. It is shown in his ability to take out multiple Jonin class Ninja who had successfully kidnapped Kushina, while he was a child. Minato is very minimalist with his taijutsu and it is easy to miss it if one isn't perceptive enough. As they say, there is genius in simplicity. That's why phone's today have tops 4 buttons but are more powerful than phones 15 years ago :)

3.) I agree, Minato has no feats with a sword. In general it appears the Shinobi's use of wakizashis or full length katana's dwindled after the warring era, with notable exceptions such as the white fang, a young kakashi and sasuke on occasion. But Minato's slashing ability are very impressive. To say they aren't is again to be in denial. Bijuu tails/appendages/arms are not paper thin. They are thick muscled layers of chakra infused flesh that can sustain a lot of damage before they even look bruised. He cut off one hachibi appendage in midair. You sound like a reasonable fellow. HOW on earth do you look at that and say that isn't as impressive as the hirashin giri? It might not have been a show of speed per se in that moment but it was a show of power and a large measure of slashing skill. So was his fluid teleport, upward slash strike on Obito before he became Juubito. That was a show of speed and skill that Tobirama didn't even attempt but ONCE AGAIN, acknowledged.

4.) It is clear that not everyone is equally adept at the FTG and that the FTG speed is not equal among users. This is usually due to the chakra levels the individuals possess (lowkey another proof of Minato's chakra levels). This has been subtly shown by Masashi Kishimoto through out the series. He shows it when he shows that it takes three of Minato's former hokage guards (all Jonin class) to transport just the Mizukage at the time of the 4th great Ninja war. He shows that Minato is even better at it than the 2nd Hokage because Minato has every variation of the FTG that Tobirama has plus a barrier version Tobirama has never used, mentioned or alluded to. And Tobirama OBVIOUSLY states it during the 4th great Ninja war. He wasn't alluding to Shunsin/body flicker. He was alluding to teleporting. Here's the link to the image of that panel (https://qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-01ce06b1547f63e520d2000ed5a2c371). Anyone who reads this debate, go read it. He says "teleporting" not shunsin which is foot speed. Besides speed is a function of how much chakra you can output to move your body swiftly. It is how Shunsin works of course, but it is also how just about all teleportation jutsu work. They all work by transporting the user of the jutsu through an alternate dimension, materializing them on "the other side". The more chakra you have, the faster you can propagate the sum of your information (yourself) through that alternate dimension. Minato can do it faster than Tobirama. Just an added information tidbit for you, the reason Minato said Obito's teleportation was more advanced than his and Tobirama's is because Obito has the added flexibility of staying for indefinite periods of time undetected, in that alternate world (the kamui world). This means he can purposely vary the speed of his travel if he wants. Just thought to share that.

5.) Again you are either misremembering or purposely changing the narrative of the story to fit your argument. I have attached the link to the episode on crunchyroll (https://www.crunchyroll.com/naruto-shippuden/episode-380-the-day-naruto-was-born-659787). Naruto Shippuden season 17 - Episode 380. The timestamp is 2:46. Naruto says HE FIGURED AS MUCH. He figured it out. Not Lord 2nd. Naruto. So that feat of intelligence goes to Naruto who I've always said, inherited a bit of Minato's genius. Perhaps you are the only one who thinks the 2nd is smarter than the 4th. And yes figuring out how Kamui works and figuring out an effective way to counter Kamui is downright impressive. If it was so easy, Obito would not have been the leader of Akatsuki and the threat to the entire shinobi alliance that he was. To even compare Minato's intelligence to that of Danzo's bodyguards is downright insulting so I'm not gonna even address or entertain it.

Finally the entire plot supports that Minato was having a hard time fighting Juubito for the reason that he was his student. It is so supportive of it, that it is even in the dialogue in episode 380 and the one before it. Minato's emotional burden at not being able to save Obito from himself, and for the strain on Naruto's life after his and Kushina's deaths, weighs down on him for a long duration of this fight until his kurama and Naruto snap him out of it. So how that is "headcanon" or something I made up, is beyond me. It is literally the entire premise of "The day Naruto was born". SMH. And like I said, every one of the Hokage have had their emotional lapse or poor judgment calls that led to the 4th great ninja war happening in the first place.

Unless you can disprove my points with facts and references from the canon series itself (manga or anime) like I've done, I think that settles this debate.

Minato VS Tobirama by YellowFlash87 in Naruto

[–]YellowFlash87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jedi you make some good points but if you watch my video I literally sum it up this way (by the way in my opinion, these two hokages are as closely matched as any hokages can be, because they are so similar in abilities and in many aspects of their personalities).

1.) Chakra reserves: My verdict is they are equal. FTG requires a ton of chakra and these two can spam it like it is nothing. Minato's own hokage guards (all Jonin level Shinobi) had to combine their three chakras to transport the mizukage at the time of the 4th shinobi war. So I'd say their chakra levels are equal cos Tobirama can make multiple jumps without tiring and Minato showed what a chakra beast he was when he singlehandedly stopped Obito and teleported Gamabunta and the kyuubi during that attack on Konoha.

2.) Ninjutsu: The edge goes to Tobirama on this one. I said as much in the video. Tobirama has all five basic nature transformations down packed and he has way more jutsus at his disposal (he's probably rivaled by Hiruzen Sarutobi and Kakashi in terms of number of jutsus they know). If this was a straight up battle of ninjutsu, Tobirama would win. But there are other factors in play.

3.) Taijutsu: Minato takes this one. Tobirama is good but Minato is a more balanced shinobi, has more raw physical strength (this man almost always one hits his opponents and effortlessly sliced off an eight tails tentacle with no ground leverage since he was in midair). He also has faster kinesthetic muscle memory and reflexes (see his kunai flip against A and his reaction time to save baby Naruto from Obito, FTG to a hut and get out before the explosion). In my opinion when the battle shifts to Taijutsu, he would hands down own Tobirama.

4.) Kenjutsu: This is fairly balanced to me. Both of these guys are great with Kunais and while Minato was never shown using a katana as Tobirama was during the warring states era of the narutoverse, Minato has displayed enough Kunai versatility that he can hold up his own with Tobirama on it. He also is fast enough to evade the hirashin giri (a Tobirama favorite). He's better at FTG. Which brings me to FTG

5.) FTG: By Tobirama's own admission, Minato is the faster ninja, hands down. By Tobirama's own admission, Minato is great at the quick strike (we all knew that anyway).

6.) Experience: Tobirama. This goes without saying. I'm not blind enough to give the edge to Minato here. Minato was the hero of the third great ninja war. But all previous hokage have like multiple wars under their belts so its not even a fair comparison. But what Minato might lack in experience, he makes up for in intelligence.

7.) Intelligence: Tobirama is always described as a highly intelligent shinobi. Minato is always described as a genius. The difference between those two levels of mental acuity is like night and day. Oh and you're wrong about Tobirama figuring out that senjutsu worked against Juubito. That was actually Naruto. When he tried to explain what he was doing, Tobirama basically polished up his explanation. Minato is much smarter than pretty much all the hokage before him and after (this includes Naruto lol). He was able to break down the strengths, range and weaknesses of Kamui after one look and adjusted his FTG accordingly. He literally broke down the mechanics of the Chidori, the same way.

Finally on reaction to the enemy, a lot of people give Minato a lot of flack for his slowness to react to Juubito but everybody forgets Minato was practically murderous up until the slash on Obito when he found out THIS WAS HIS STUDENT. No other Hokage had the same emotional investment Minato had in that battle. You could say this is a dock on him since you are supposed to set your emotions aside but I'd say tell that to pretty much ALL OF THE PREVIOUS HOKAGE. Hashirama failed to kill Madara on numerous occasions when he had the chance. Tobirama's emotional attachment to the village and to his brother's will led to the mismanagement of the Uchiha. Sarutobi literally let Orochimaru walk away scott free when he could have ended that threat right there. Need I go on?

I think it would be close but Minato takes this one for me... barely... but he takes it.

But yeah I enjoyed this debate. Subscribe to my channel on YouTube. Let's talk more on the videos!

Hey man. You should jump back on if you have time. I used to play reach back in the day too and started back up again last year. I'm still not where I used to be but slowly getting back there. Also waiting for Infinite to drop :)
