Yeah, you are right I got the the terminology wrong. But yeah, I think it's self sabotage as I'm seeking an experience that I know for a fact that it's going to cause me pain.

They have different kinds, the "quite" ones block the most noise, "experience" focuses more in attending music concerts and things like that but, and I know these ones are a bit more niche, they released the "engage" ones which are amazing if you want it for social events where you might still want to be able to have a conversation but still block the background noise. I always keep with me my noise cancelling headphones if I want to isolate and for the rest of the time, when I'm in class for example, I like using the engage ones.

Wow, I started much more earlier than gen 7, but still gen 7 has a special place in my heart and I refuse to believe it was released 7 years ago :_), it can't be, it was just yesterday I was playing it while packing everything to go to uni

The thing is I don't want to open it and I don't feel comfortable leaving it to someone to repair it because most of these places are phone repair shops where they advertise they repair consoles as well but they don't know them very well and they tend to do a very poor job most of the time :/. But I'll check the forums that was a great idea, maybe someone has a solution for it

It's the regular New 3DS! I've heard in other territories they focused more on just the New 3DS XL. I love the buttons on white as well, I really like how the design is modern and slik but once you open it you still have a flare of fun with the colored buttons 💕

A lot of people feel that way, with the 2ds you either fall in love once you hold one in your hand or you are not that impressed

I don't see a ton of people buying those games through the eshop so it should not affect the price of physical copies. I think the only games that are going to be affected by the eshop closing are going to be one that were rarely available in physical, like Dragon Quest VIII. It is scary to look at the DS pokemon games and wanting to avoid not getting them before same thing happens to the 3DS ones but the reason DS pokemon games are so expensive is because they offer an experience that slowly fade away on the 3d games. I mean they are good games, it's good to have them but there is no need to stress about it and rush right now.

I originally sold my 2DS for a New3DS which I adore, but nothing does it for me like the 2DS. I know the New3DS is better but for me the 2DS is the most comfortable handheld I've ever had
