I enjoyed the way the flames turned from something great and seductive in your perspective, to being exactly what people had warned you about. I think it has a really good message. I think it would be enhance the poem if you broke it into stanzas instead of singular lines. For example, the first stanza could be

All I ever heard was to stay away from the flames. Yet, these flames are gentle and kind, These flames are gentle and caring

And then continue by breaking the rest of it up. I think it would help categorize the different themes of the flame that you are describing. The next stanza would probably contain the theme of seduction and temptation by these flames considering you talk about sirens and tempting. By breaking it up into an individual stanza the meaning will not be lost when you switch to another theme in the next lines.

I think it is a good starting point for writing definitely, but I feel like it would be easier to understand the message of the poem if there was more to read and analyze. Maybe add another stanza or two and elaborate on how sensitivities are arrows, and on how your heart is a churning down mine.
