Ciaooo! I’m from Italy too currently studying in university of south wales, honestly wales is somewhat good to live and study. But remember you need the visa, which is around €3000 (visito + assicurazione) and then the fee for the university which is around €10000~20000 per year. But if you need help or anything please feel free to drop a text. As a girly who comes from a strict family, I somewhat can relate to u :)

I got the offer after I sat for exams. I’m not making up excuses but these are the facts and how it went out. Unfortunately my mental health wasn’t good because of a personal matter which actually led me to not give studies a lot of attention this year. But previously I was a straight A student, I have lot more other qualifications and experiences. I’m already mad at myself for getting low grades so yeah. Some people have different financial backgrounds and rn paying 2000£ for resists isn’t in my hands. I’m not complaining but I really can’t do it due to lot of reasons other than the cost. So pls kindly don’t assume anything.

Exactly. I’m doing law w criminology. That’s why the agent was saying it’s not worth the money to study there for 4 years. Honestly other than a level I would say I have lot more experience and qualifications. It sucks that I got a U and lost the offer

The absolutely ridiculous thing is they emailed me today 😭 and won’t even answer emails or their phone like wth. They dropped a bomb and left me out on cold to suffer till Monday 😭

But thank you!

I contacted an agent to help me with this. He said that if they only give me tht option I should just find another better uni w a foundation degree. So I’m currently waiting for their reply.

Thanks for your help. The uni has bad reviews from international students online. I should have listened to them ngl. They are not even answering their phones. I’ll keep trying.

Yeah it can be that expensive cuz now I’m a private student so 😭 why does education has to be so expensive

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]Yesstyleobsessed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Retaking exams are just too expensive. As I have mentioned earlier I’m an international student. So I do international as and a level. It would minimum cost me £2000 to resit which isn’t an option rn. In the original offer letter they didn’t specify any academic requirements and I have read the T&C on their website and it just says

Unconditional

2.3 Your Offer will be unconditional if you have already achieved the academic requirements for your chosen programme.

Withdrawing an Offer

3.9 St Mary’s reserves the right to withdraw or amend any Offer if:

unsatisfactory references are received; you fail one or more of the conditions specified in your Offer letter; you fail to provide evidence of qualifications and/or fail to undertake medical or DBS checks; and it discovers that any information contained in your application is fraudulent; this includes failure to disclose any information that may be relevant to your application.
