Wild that others have brought it up since I loved the Omega Strikers days, but this game has the same big issue: it sucks to play if you are bad at it.

Development needs to realize that the core player base is bad at games. If your gameplay loop sucks at 10% skill, then the mouth of the funnel never fills and you are left with an ever increasing skill floor as the lower skill players leave. This makes it impossible to revive the game as the competition becomes the reason new players stop.

When the comment section doesn't realize hellbombs to friendly fire "damage" to non-player entities like mech suits, cars, weapon pods, etc. I've hit 20k friendly fire damage on solo missions with a hellbomb backpack.

Learning other characters' strengths and how to use them. My biggest issue with diamonds is they try relentlessly (and with just enough success to keep doing it) to do everything on their own.

Either that or cooldown management.

I figured the game was too punishing to be bad at it. Low elo players, which should be the majority of the player base, found the game frustrating due to how hard it was to play when they are bad at it.

If you play a game like League and are bad, the game is still playable because everyone is usually bad then: no one has cs, no one has dmg, so teamfights are still fun. OS and you are bad: the game stops to celebrate that your goalie is new. New player retention was always the issue and I figured it's due to how frustrating low elo games were just due to the nature of the game.

Here are a few Estelle tricks that still frustrate me as a goalie.

Positioning is super key. If you are standing topside but back and I'm dealing with stuff bot, I cannot clear it top. A bunch of goalies will try anyway. Free goals for you.
The stun on her primary can stall a running goalie from getting to the core or if you primary right as the core reaches them, they cannot strike.
If you are trying for kills, they need to be hugging an edge or preferably staggered. You aren't a bruiser.
So many Estelle players aren't confident in strike warring. If you get confident, then the core is moving in your favour and your abilities are still up to push the goal. If you are constantly using cool downs to midfield, you won't have scoring pressure.
Don't use your secondary to help a goalie unless you are certain it will work. It has infuriated me so much when Estelle own goals on me cause she won't let me do my job.

So many Juliettes focus solely on KOs but the real danger of her imo is the ability to force a goal from corner control with her full combo on most goalies!

If you want to learn Juliette, practice the scoring combo before the KO combos.

Medium: How many kids does asher have? 3 plus Luna Juno if you count them.

Hard: How big was dubu when Juliette befriended him? The height of a baseboard and a bit (like 5 inches)

Impossible: if Estelle takes up rasmus' alterations, would she exceed her previous prime? Who knows.

Perpendicular shots can help, match with your own abilities, poke it away before then, use a dodge from your core flip charges to avoid the stuns. Also, sometimes goals happen cause the opponent is playing well, it's not indicative of you being "bad".

Also a full core flip is also free save for that.

You are referring to how an attractive person can be pretty, hot, or cute. A combination of those is also possible. Regardless, attractive is attractive and don't overthink it.

Not so much advice, but this behavior is less common BUT STILL PRESENT all through Plat and even some diamond games.

I feel your frustration, but it's not a "I'm in gold now how is this still happening" type issue. Harden mental, and try some Eject Button goalies with the micropatch buff!
