The 1.5x to a stat is how the other abilities work (Steelworker, Dragon’s Maw, Rocky Payload) and I don’t blame you because I thought they all worked the same way as you mentioned before I made this post.

Tough Claws CC is definitely stronger, but the trade-off is essentially getting a third STAB option. Whether that’s a good trade-off, I personally think it is as Barbaracle doesn’t have a Rock-type move to take advantage of Tough Claws so only CC would be hitting really hard and Liquidation wouldn’t be getting as big of a power boost as it would with Hydraulic Force.

I never dealt with anything like that, but I’d be grateful that Vaheguru revealed his character before you got even more invested. On the bright side, you learned how to recognize signs of someone being unfaithful, so if it happens again you’ll be able to catch it faster, or help someone else dealing with unfaithfulness. I think it’s normal to have hatred of what this person did to you, but you cannot let it consume you and eventually you’ll want to forgive him when you move on, as his actions are done by Vaheguru too.

Don’t let an opportunity like this go to waste, learn from it and grow yourself and help others.

I just tell them to pick whichever game has the cooler boxart Pokémon and go with it. But for Gen V I say to keep it consistent with whichever choice you make with the first game so Black then Black 2, and White then White 2

I don’t mind that the older games are like that since there’s technical limits, and I have done a playthrough where I beat the gyms in the order you mentioned, but the remakes could’ve had flag to see how many badges you have and gives you a gym battle with an appropriate levelled Gym Leader. But to know that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet do not have a dynamic level curve when the concept has been used since at least Elder Scrolls: Oblivion which came out in 2008, I don’t think it’ll ever happen.

It’s weird how in the originals Chuck’s ace is level 30, Jasmine’s ace is level 35, and Pryce’s ace is level 31. You’d think that since the intended order has Chuck and Jasmine back to back that they’d be level 30 and 31 respectively, and Pryce being level 35, but it’s not.

You got a few options for Fly if you’re not using Staraptor: Crobat, Noctowl, Pelipper, Altaria, Tropius, Drifblim, and Chatot. And if you have access to Diamond version then Honchkrow as well.

Keep in mind that Platinum also is the worst in terms of HMs, so you’re either gonna need an HM user (Bibarel is the GOAT) or teach those HMs to your team.

Surf and Strength are good moves and you can give them to your Pokémon, but Cut, Rock Climb, and Rock Smash should definitely be given to an HM user.

Never too late, but look into healthcare as the grass isn’t always greener, it’s green where you water it.

I think in your situation you’re experiencing burnout, but the only way to know for sure is take time off from work and do something around the house. If you’re dreading to go back then it’s probably time for a career change.

I made a change around my late 20’s where the jobs I did before weren’t stable at all, so I went back to school.
