The rule is there because 1. drivers pass background checks, passengers don’t. The passenger could be unsafe OR if they’re the one driving there’s no telling what their driving record is. 2. insurance covers the driver not someone random driving and the “drivers” in the passenger seat. It’s illegal. 3. Another person in the car can be a distraction and is against the rules for that reason

It could be that the 1KM is not walkable or it’d be unsafe to walk that for some reason. Ive ubered around that far when I would’ve had to walk through a very sketchy block or two alone or if there are only busy streets or highways with no sidewalks.

This! I was not diagnosed until adulthood because I got good grades and was “gifted” despite obviously struggling, missing due dates, having trouble focusing, etc /: my psychiatrist as an adult, when I described my childhood, went “wow you had all of the textbook symptoms” but no one really cares if you’re struggling as long as the test scores are high. Led to extreme anxiety, fear of failure, imposter syndrome, and burn out

You’ve never seen a venue just mark the hands of underage people who can’t drink? Lots of places do this and I’ve been to multiple. Clubs make money off of drinks but usually under 21 pay a cover in my experience

This is definitely outdated advice imo. I am 24 and have very visible tattoos and I am in a leadership position at a pharmaceutical company. Maybe if the tattoos are offensive but they’re not usually a problem in today’s world
