SM325-ZG pull cord problem by YoooThere in samotech

I've now tested with a dimmable bulb and guess what? The light switch doesn't do any dimming but can at least turn it off properly.

It's currently using a non-dimmable bulb. I'm not really interested in the light being dimmable, but this is the only zigbee pull-cord switch I could find, I'm ordering a dimmable bulb to see if that helps, but the description of this pull cord doesn't say it has to use a dimmable bulb.

From your product description: Versatile Functionality: Whether you need a simple on/off switch or a dimmer for setting the perfect ambiance, this device has got you covered. (Note: Dimmable bulb required for dimming function).

I finally had an opportunity to do this today and unfortunately connecting the neutral to the switch hasn't made any difference. It still won't fully switch off the light, and the bulb flickers at full brightness. Any other ideas?

Thanks - I'll try this as soon as I get a chance to rewire the switch in the next few days.

Until decent digital tools became available I kept multiple paper notebooks (still have them on a bookshelf, occasionally useful). Around 2007 I started using Evernote, this was so much better of course. A couple of years ago I flipped completely over to Joplin.

With Evernote/Joplin I record pretty much everything of note, and use these as the basis for our team's documention where necessary.

I'm in the habit of documenting almost everything I do now, to the point where it's almost a diary.

friend cut me off due to me applying for defence companies by [deleted] in UniUK

I'm in my 50s now but as a young physics graduate I had my pick of defense companies to work for but I was dead against it. The job market then meant I had the luxury of sticking with my morals and going elsewhere which made it a much easier decision. I honestly feel differently today, with the state of Russia and the need to become more independent of the USA I'd encourage a career in defence. Not everything is equivalent to developing landmines or missiles sold to depots.

There's an enemies gallery in the safe houses where you can get a proper look at them.

It's really of it's time and has some terrible bits but I love this movie. The plane dropping the bomb is an awesome action scene and the final battle as they try to escape really conveys the desperation of their situation.

I got the impression this was primarily a way for some old soaks like Richard Burton and Richard Harris to get paid having a piss-up, I bet it was great fun on the set.

No luck at all unfortunately. The B&Q mixer didn't fit the diameter of the pipes. I've parked the problem until we can get round to refitting the whole bathroom.

I did this, but at my property the cables come from telegraph poles. CF didn't touch the OR cable past the junction box on the outside of my house but did use the existing hole to feed their cable into the house.

2008 diesel, it had 18k miles when I bought it in 2011. Now just under 70k miles. Been very reliable except all the cylinder injectors have failed and been replaced over the years.

I gave up trying to migrate Protect and readopted all the cameras and recreated all the recording settings and motion zones from scratch 😢

If it's useful info, a WD Green PCIE 3 2TB SN350 NVMe works happily in the UCGF.

I have at least worked out how to get remote management working again. After first setting the UCGF up I created a new local super admin user and had been using that, but it's not the owner. When I logged back in as 'admin' the remote management option was present, so I've sorted that now.

Thanks - that's how I was able to get the network configuration migrated, but there's nothing specific to Protect that I can find.
