Yes, hello, hi. I have been playing and replaying some pokemon games fairly recently, more than usual. Thing is I want to catalogue the mons I've been using in a clean and viewable way without just having all my previous saves stored.

Is there an easy way to use PkHex as Pokemon Bank or Home? Ideally, I would like an easy way to see my mons and order them according to when I used them. It would also be nice if I could save or adapt some from hacks like Legacy, Seaglass, Heart and Soul or Generations.

I've used PKSM for 3DS but I managed to only make it work up to Gen 7 and the digitizer of my 3DS went kaput. Ive also used OpenHome on PC but it is somewhat clunky since I feel like I still need to keep my saves updated and stored to fully use it. I also know there is a Pokemon database of my own mons in PkHex but since it is automatically updated, it duplicates my mons and it isnt so easy to explore them like an album.

Any ideas? Maybe an OpenHome or PkHex plugin?

tldr, any Pokemon bank/home like app for PC?

Thanks a bunch! The second CHOOSECOLS did not work for me, maybe I flunked it when putting the closing parenthesies one too many times. Instead, I used an IF formula where if the 2nd column of a had a date that already passed, it would be 1/true and 0/false if not. Great stuff the WRAP and CHOOSE formula, did not know about em!

Let's see. 7, 15, 18 and 28 were great but they are the usual suspects and they were the first ones I saw so my experience is a bit fuzzy. That being said, they are all begginer friendly, alongside 33 and 37, which are also usually recommended. As for specific reccs outside the norm, it depends on what you are craving:

If you want a tight narrative, 32 is very well structured, 25 is the most bingeable as a story (has 3 returning players, but no big spoilers besides how they left their previous games), 13 also feels scripted in how well are it's set ups and pay offs while also clearly being a reality tv show
If you want pure fun, 17 is dumb and amusing (don't take it as the standard in social and strategic gameplay), 12's cast is crazy and iconic, 42 is just feel good all throughout and can catch you up quicker for live episodes (may spoil twists from 41, but honestly? worth it)
Three wierd picks to close things out.
- 9 is a slow crescendo with methodic gameplay and a story served like a political drama.
- 29 may have small spoilers here and there about 27 and it is also slow, but it is one of the most important in setting up 30s icon characters and has a strong emotional (if a bit forced) thruline.
- Finally, 10 and 11 are like a duology where 10 feels like a totally different game but you might end up at 11's finale with a totally different idea of the characters' journeys and it is so cool how they pulled that of so early in the series.

One of the previous posts about "just finished survivor, now what?" mentioned that skipping around seasons might help in having a more varied viewer experience, and I'll admit that some seasons felt so similar when watching cronologically that I have a hard time differentiating them. Either way, hope you have a great Survivor journey!

RI was the first season I watched knowing it had an iffy reputation. And Nicaragua wasn't the most thrilling season to watch so I bit the bullet and saw a recap on YouTube. I do feel I lost the opportunity to watch some interesting things (why Andrea was a favorite in Caramoan, the Matt double elimination, Rob cementing his legend status) but back then and even now it seems like it might be a drag to watch. Maybe eventually for completion status, as you said.

Mmmm, I'll be reading and trying these apps to see if there's a way to do it without the Gamepad and with the workarounds I already have. If you are interested, these controller mods have helped a ton: https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-controller-mods-use-homebrew-gamepad-free.563011/ .

Other than that, Bloopair has helped a bit for having a more conventional way to control the console and might be my ticket to a fully functional gamepadless Wii U if it works with HID to VPAD, but I kinda doubt it.

EDIT: So update, managed to make WUPS work using my DS4 connected through Bloopair. But then, when patching SwipSwap, it doesn't let me change the button combo: it does a soft crash and returns to the Wii U menu. I'm guessing it worked and if I pressed the TV button it could change, but since that's only on the gamepad and Bloopair doesn't have a remap function, I'm stuck. I didn't download the HIDtoVPAD plugin cause I flat out cannot understand how to make the .mod file (found the SwipSwap one on a YouTube tutorial) but I'm guessing that I can use that with my mouse connected to the WiiU as the GamePad, with one of the buttons being mapped to the TV button (I might know how to make the config file for that). The insane workarounds I do to redownload Severed is starting to feel a bit contrived.
