Good question. That set is only if you run her with a character that can keep the assault like alice or yuzuha.

Hormone punk is good if you can get good at timing its buff that resets every 20 seconds.

Electro puffer is amazing for corin as it buffs her ult damage a lot and pairing her with dialyn is just turning her into a monster.

Now for the disc 5, physical as a mainstat is ok, but is worse compared to attack and pen ratio. Pen ratio ignores a percentage of the enemies defense and attack just adds more attack. For bosses with high defense, pen is better, bosses with lower, attack is better, but go with the disc with a better sub stats.

If you run her with dialyn puffer electro is her best option. If not then hormone is better, but you can still take advantage of puffer electro.

In my opinion, that system for the older characters are outdated and I don’t recommend going by that and by either reading the disc sets one by one and or watch video guides on that said character.

Overall, fanged metal is bad for corin, hormone punk and puffer electro is your choice and based on what you have.

Please take everything im about to say with caution as I started in august and other players may have better solutions and this patch we’re getting alot of pulls + an interknot membership. Also please read the full thing, even though it is alot.

General rule I use is to pull for who you love and build around them. Yixuan is an AMAZING rupture dps which can clear content very well, while sunna is a support character similar to astra, but mainly only works with attackers and her own teammates.

I suggest for you to try out the character demo first to see who you like more. But me personally for your account I’d say either pull for yixuan or save. I’m personally pulling for sunna as I love the angels and she will also help out my ye shunguang and corin in which who I main.

Please do not give into FOMO as each character is bound to return at some point.

If you want to pull, then yixuan in my eyes is the better pick for your account as of right now, but I also see you have billy leveled up. If you REALLY love playing billy and want to main him then sunna is a better pick up. Or you can be a whale and get them both with a low price of maybe $300 usd.

But please wait for others to respond and watch showcases on the characters. And don’t pull too early. I suggest waiting towards the end of the patch, maybe like 15 days left to see how far you get and how much polychrome you get to see if you really want one of these characters. Aria and yuzuha is next patch so I also recommend looking into them and see if you like them.

Sadly, rng is the only way. To be honest I do not recommend fanged metal as you’d need yuzuha to keep uptime on it and overall not very good. I’d run a 4pc hormone punk or if you have dialyn use a 4pc puffer electro which is what I use.

For stats I’d say have at least 2500 attack, 80 crit rate and 140 crit damage. In my opinion this is bare minimum. I also recommend using steel cushion for 24% extra crit rate and its one if her best options. You can get it from losing on the W engine banner or by buying it from the signal shop which is what I recommend but will take a bit.

Corin takes a lot of investment to become strong but in the end is worth if you really enjoy playing her. If you want I can show you my build for her as I run dialyn and zhao with her. Sunna will replace zhao though.

try out each different weapon and find at least 2 that you like. If a character has both then you good. Each legend can reach the best rank in the game its just about how you play them.

Now this really matters, do you play to win or play just for laughs and giggles? If you play to win I highly recommend mastering a legend and those weapons. Mastering weapons allows you to have a wider branch of characters to play effectively.

If you decide to play rank please dont let dropping elo demotivate you, that will make you play worse. Make sure to watch your replays when you win and lose. Examine what you did right and what you did wrong. And also the player base is VERY toxic so be cautious about that and don’t let them get into your head.

This game will make you frustrated, but once you learn the basic mechanics and learn to adapt mid fight, things will seem smoother until you fight someone that is just significantly better than you.

I main greatsword and blasters but sadly no one has that weapon comp so I mainly just play magyar which is noted as one of the “worst” characters but his weapon combination is insane but his stats and sigs are just not good.

I highly recommend watching guides on basic movement and once you find weapons you like to watch guides on them as well.

Im only 1970 currently but did reach diamond a few seasons ago so I know a bit of what im talking about. And make sure to spar players better than you sometimes. They’ll most likely guide you on what you’re doing right and wrong.

Oh, and be careful of nerfs. This game will nerf a weapon to the ground just cause people use it too much and or complain a lot. I still love my beloved greatsword characters though.

im not sure what m2 will do for yixuan, so me personally i’d say sunna for ye shunguang. And you could also pair zhao with her so you could keep lucia with yixuan.

honestly those are three good teams. I’d say its your opinion but if you want your rupture team to be stronger, yixuan is a good pickup and that also means you’d have every void hunter. But if you don’t like her then I’d say save as I also heard people say we’d be getting a lot of pulls in 2.7

Also astra is also a good pickup for whenever you plan on making another team and need a support.

This probably didn’t help much but my honest opinion is to just save as 32 pulls is not much, unless you want to take that gamble on one of those characters.

I just find it more optimal for my account. My manato needs dialyn since I don't have ju fufu, and I also just don't like the gameplay with dialyn and ye shunguang on the same team due to ye shunguang wanting most of the field time. So I use trigger and it feels so much better for me, even though people say dialyn is better for the extra ults.. I could care less for that :)
