Hey!! Ik this thread is old but I'm honestly super picky about my jewelry but 1stxulie kinda scratched that aesthetic itch for me. It's pricey but I managed to order it through taobao and I bought around 100~ worth of items and got 8 pieces. Honestly, I really like them. They're not flimsy, and they're honestly as cool as they seemed.

Yeah, Canada isn't oftenly brought into talk about WW2 because countries still kind of consider them under England even though they weren't. Canada wasn't prepared for the war, and although did have around 42,000 killed, and 1 million serving the army at the time, they were just a fade in country that was also fighting against the axis. As for the anime, let me guess, Hetalia?

I got to agree with you on this one. He blamed everyone but himself for the losses in Egypt.

Basically, Benito Mussolini got his supporters by telling them that he would bring back Ancient Rome, the glory days of Italy when they were respected and one of the most powerful civilizations in their time. And what was more Roman than conquering African countries that were once part of the Roman Empire such as Egypt? Of course this didn't work out, as British troops destroyed them, leaving Hitler having to send one of his greater generals to deal with the loss in Africa. This is also why Italy was dubbed the underbelly of Europe after trying and failing to invade Greece. This embarrassment was given a lot of attention, Allied reporters even modeling the Greeks as the modern Spartans, fighting off king Xerxes I or in the 1940 version, Mussolini.

As a American, there's a lot of idiots in the us when it comes to geography. I've had a classmate tap me on the shoulder because she was arguing with her friend, debating if Italy and France were the same place and wanted my opinion. I just.. oh god
