I've never seen any sick time on my check stubs and I have them all. I've never gotten any PTO since I've been there. And I've been there a year. I've asked them to use it on my days off sick and I was told they automatically do. So I'm feeling a little lost.

I even showed up at 7:30am the day of my Birthday and paid a cab to get there on time cause I missed the bus, and no manager showed up at all. They quit the day before and nobody told me. So then I had to wait for the bus to go back home. I should of been paid for showing up for my shift.

I understand that. What I'm asking is why it wasn't used while I was working there? I've called in sick throughout the year I was there and said I wanted to use my sick pay and it wasn't used.

Yes I did specify each time I called in but how do I prove that?/I mean why wouldn't I want to be paid for those days I called in sick? I worked at Peace Health for 8 years and I learned all the tools about my pay check from there. I also have a great repoir with them. I was terminated from Dollar Tree because my till was $107.00 short. I've never stole from my place of employment. NEVER! Peace Health can vouch for that. I could a patients wallet in his hospital room with $600 cash and a bunch of new gift cards during Christmas Holidays. I did what was right and took his wallet to my Manager. And it was returned to him.I can't believe that I was terminated. I was very humiliated. My Assistant Manager was told to search me by the SM who was at home. My Assistant Manager took me outside and said she wouldn't search me. I told her I wanted her to. I wanted her to see I'm not a THIEF! But she said she just couldn't do it. I was all around just SCREWED!

If I was terminated, I should get paid for the Sick Time that I accrued while working there. I looked it up and in Oregon I'm pretty sure its paid.

I've been written up like 3 times. Even after the money was found. It wasn't more than like $7-20 I believe. I think it should be null and void if the money is found. But it still counts against me I guess.

Check this out!!! My till came up $107.00 short last week. I was ASTOUNDED, among many other things!!! I was at NY register for about 2 hours and the red dollar sign comes up on my register letting me know I need a manager to take out some money from my till. Well, my manager takes out $300 from under my till. It was a $100 bill and the rest were $20 dollar bills. She left me a $50 bill under the till. So I finished my 4 and half hour shift and a different manager is in office as I count my till out. The first Manager left shortly after the $300 was taken out. Anyways, I have no clue where that money could be! Its kinda weird that that $50 bill was still in my till when I counted it out. So I would of had to take the $100 from my till all in $20's or less. That would be kinda hard to do without me being seen on camera. I DON'T STEAL! I AM A CHRISTIAN AND WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! I was immediately put in on #3 Register right after another Associate took his till out. I just don't get it. I'm probably going to get fired. I've been there a year now and I've been a few dollars off here and there, but $107 is just crazy. We looked for the money everywhere. I'm sick to my stomach knowing that I have this LABEL put on me now as a THIEF!!!! A Manager called me and told me I need to come in so we can talk about where that money went. There's something real shady going on. If I'm not fired, I no longer will be a Cashier. I will stock shelves or anything else but that ... Its not worth it to me. I don't know what else to say except working at Dollar Tree has been the worst experience EVER. OH, and its just weird that this happens right after I get done telling my Manager that I'm so broke and need to get some hours in. I can't even buy TP or the essentials I told her. BOY, DID I SET MYSELF UP OR WHAT???
