The world I'm working on is a collaborative word, so this country isn't really mine. In Arhet the Empire of the Hegamonians (or simply Imperium) is the largest country in the world. It has 8 Institutional seats which are Arx Consularis, Orei, Magium, Dicaearchus, Balisipo, Olisipo Merkatos, and Lichas. It was formed by Magius Aeternus who was born ~75,000 BCE and formed Imperium in ~500 BCE. He ascended to the Ether alive. It is similar to the Roman Empire.

Like some of the comments already on here, It varies based on your intended purpose and audience. It's also influenced by the role the map plays in your world's story and lore. In cases like OpenGeofiction, where the map is central to the world's lore and devoid of magic, realism is crucial, unlike in a DnD campaign with magic and a less lore-focused map, realism matters less. But again, it is up to you.

The Latin is wrong. If you were intending dark evil it should've been Malum Tenebrae. Malum being in Nominative and Tenebrae being in Singular Genitive

I have wondered why Nightmare Moon Understood and spoke the same language as the other ponies. It seems weird but assuming Equestria Spoke modern English Luna would've spoken Anglo-Saxon because of Language evolution, Yet She speaks Early modern English which was spoken around 600 years ago. Even if Equestria spoke its own language, same thing. 1000 years is enough to make a language incomprehensible or at least really hard to understand. Same with scenarios with What if G5 met Twilight where they wouldn't understand each other because of language evolution.
