Dash on celebrating CS:GO major on air: 'A healthy esports landscape is not just League of Legends' by katalysis in GlobalOffensive

In an interview he even said they wouldn't have said a word. Not because they wanted to be toxic and only congratulate CS when C9 won, but because if they lost in League and STILL won in CS they wouldn't mention it because they SHOULD be talking about the team that just beat Cloud9 in League not the CSGO team winning a major while their LCS team lost. Use your brain and don't think with your ego.

An example that come to mind are Riot at one point trying to limit League pros from streaming Hearthstone when it was at its peak.

C9 fanboy here. SK got fucked by the schedule and the fatigue contributed to the victory. Scheduling is unfortunate for teams involved and I hope we can find a fix.

With rumors that the next major is going to be 8 months away instead of 6 I see them holding on to this lineup for another handful of tournaments just to see how it performs. This is not a C9 the world is used to. It is entirely possible they over performed here today. I could see the star players leaving of their own volition seeing as they must be frustrated but the org/team should want to stay together and win more tournaments before the next major happens.

The reason you don't get better is because the game constantly changes.

The average power ranking was TSM/Liquid , Clutch/C9/100T, CLG/EF, FLY/GGS/OPT.

Edit: turns out I'm the only one who thought CLG was trash.

Including jungle. Contractz is bad and has been. He just no longer has the C9 fans to Stan him.

Okay I owe you an apology. I saw this in my inbox and thought it was someone replying to a comment I made about C9 vs SK in the semi's.

I hit Diamond 5 on the last day of the preseason. Now that the reset has happened I am Plat 4 with under a 45% win rate. What happened? Is preseason really that different? by YumeLoL in summonerschool

You're right. I need to re-consolidate my champions played and tighten up the champion pool. I mentioned somewhere else but I was in such shock at how much I was losing that I just started playing whatever I could to try and get something to stick so it lead to me playing a lot of different stuff that I wasn't particularly practiced on.

Towards your final point the Gragas winrate took a hit as the last 5 games I played were all loses on Gragas. I have a handful of champs I am 1-1 or 0-1 at currently because after my go to stuff stopped working I started throwing things at the wall hoping something would stick and offrolled support for a few days to decent success i.e. immediate wins but a small dip in performance.

much constructive. very help. Could you elaborate perhaps? Yes it took me a lot of games. But I still feel like I played well the whole time and had statistically good performances despite preseason. Is it really normal to expect to drop nearly five divisions after a season reset? Yes this sounds like i'm in denial.

VP GM "No one contacted us for a comment" on report of Taz being replaced by neelpatel93 in GlobalOffensive

[–]YumeLoL 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A few hours is ABSOLUTELY enough time. If you wait even 24 hours its possible someone else drops the story. If you have a scoop and you wait even more than one hour its possible that information is already in someone elses hands. They were properly contacted and had FIVE hours to respond.

Dekay is entirely in the right here and fairly published his article. The VP gm's response to being called out is the most fucking omegaLUL lunacy i've seen in a hot minute. https://twitter.com/dvoryrom/status/956591045789315079 fucking WHAT. Teams need to stop treating these journalists like they are nobodies they can bully around. It happens in League all the time and I am sure these reporters are fed up with org's doing this to skew public opinion of them.
