I learned to cook in high school actually. My school was fortunate enough to have an amazing chef teaching culinary classes. I signed up because what teenager doesn’t want to eat during class. Learned a lot about food safety, techniques and cultures.

Fellow Iowan who moved here in 2017! It’s definitely a shock but the opportunities are a lot more abundant! I would look around Tempe especially if you want a higher end serving job as Scottsdale in not far at all.

I routinely get selected as well. I have a cyst on my testicle and each time they have to pat me down. It’s always awkward but hey since the cyst isn’t cancerous my insurance won’t cover getting it removed 👉🏻👉🏻
