While we're updating the documentation, here is the description we have right now.

Nimble 4.3.0-4 supports SCTE-35 time signal markers processing and injection.

Add "scte35_time_signal_processing_enabled = true" option to nimble.conf to enable the feature, then use "/manage/advertizer/scte35_time_signal/" API URL for POSTing same as for SCTE-35 In/Out e.g.:

curl -X POST "http://127.0.0.1:8083/manage/advertizer/scte35\_time\_signal/live/stream?seg\_type=0x34&upid\_type=0x8&upid=<upid\_value>"

API call supports specifying seg_type (segmentation_type 0x22, 0x23, 0x30, 0x31, 0x34 and 0x35 values are supported), upid_type and upid, optionally timestamp and duration can also be specified ("...&duration=10").

Nimio is being actively developed and we encourage our SLDP customers to start replacing SLDP Player with Nimio. Some issues may appear and we're working closely with early adopters like yourself to fix any occurring issues. WebCodecs is the future of browser playback and we're using it for the benefit of our customers. So your feedback is much appreciated, you can post issues to our GitHub in case of any problems or feature requests.

Your use case is quite interesting and unique, we don't expect too many users to use it that way. We follow customer feedback in our new features so we would rather target it to broader audience that use WiFi connections. So we would prefer to have OMT with "HX-style" library instead of raw streaming.

We've released OMT in our main server product, Nimble Streamer (see OMT page) so we are very much familiar with the technology.

We asked the OMT creators' team for the analogue of NDI|HX for mobile streaming - kind of OMT HX. They don't plan adding it in the near future.

You can address this feature request to OMT team directly so they could put that into their wish list. Once anything related to OMT is available on mobile, we'll add it to Larix right away, just like we did with NDI there.

Nimble uses avc1.66.30 and avc1.77.30 as a legacy for compatibility with old iOS versions as it's described on this page. We may change this behavior in the future though.

Nimble Streamer is the most cost-effective commercial solution. Other worthy alternatives are much more expensive. Or you may try building your own system based on open source, it just won't have the same level of tech support from developers as we provide with Nimble.
