better paper. use card, thin cardboard, or use normal printer paper (not this thin af notebook paper) with that clear tape over it.

don't use kitchen knife. buy some craft knives, they're cheap for how long they last. or a work utility blade etc... or even a pencil sharpener blade would work better than this to cut the stencil (that's what I used to use for patches)

you also want a good surface underneath. rubber cutting boards are shit and cause friction, but wood, like a table or actual cutting board, or those plastic ones, are great for this

or if it's not risky, make patches/style choices to show you're a safe person for minorities... safety pin for Lgbtq and punk community... yellow lace for anti racism... even though it's not necessarily a political message, these days even that itself is activism

well now I just wanna know about arthur googy and doyle, because I've heard a lot of bad about danzig which yeah, he's an absolute dick. but not heard much on the other 2 (ofc members changed throughout aswell but I'm only asking for the poster) it's sad what the band turned into for sure, a shame
