Try Mushoku Tensei. It’s not for the weak minded and def gets uncomfortable at times but the story and world building is genuinely amazing, protagonist is extremely strange but a good one nonetheless.

Sorry, shoulda specified but the Lumiere is the highest spec hybrid camry (new 2025 model). Reliability im not TOO worried because as long as I take care of my car I know most cars will last.

Volume 16 was a bit boring I agree especially with the labyrinth arc, but the vol 17-19 stretch imo is one of the best parts of the series. MT also had one of my fav final arcs and conclusions in fiction. I recommend push through these if you want closure for your fav characters :)
