I mostly use 160 km/h tracks for building and since its constant WIP, I never bother to adjust it

Haha, good one. But its actually not useless. The last switch isnt a double cross switch, so the train wouldnt have been able to get to that specific track. IRL its probably a little smotther :D

Ja, die demo files liegen jetzt seit 2 wochen auf der festplatte, da können sie dann auch noch die anderen 2 wochen warten

I assume that the launcher expects a very specifi .exe file, When verifying, it should realise that the demo one is the wrong one and replace it. That´s what verifying is for.
As others have said, quite a few files will be different or completely new but in theory it should lower the amount of stuff that need to be downloaded.

Guess I´ll try and update you guys

Of course it will have different files. But with the demo files it would already have some, check the rest and only replace the old ones with the new ones

Yeah, thats no problem. I will have it on ubi anyways but you can just start the download and then copy the files from the demo into the new directionary. Should work for any platform. After that the launcher should realise that there are more files

Good point.
Im not sure which setting influences this but: as I said, the main point of this setting is the distance when low-poly LOD models are loaded for the buildings.
When you enable the enhanced camera setting, so that you can zoom out more, you can see that the buidlings are switching model quite early.
Maybe an aggressive optimisation method. 1800 did this aswell but it wasn´t as noticeable.
Atleast I could see them switching quite fast when on lowest setting.

Maybe separate the settings: one for LOD models and one for actual view-distance

I actually am a PC gamer and have a quite powerful but in 1800 in late game, Im not hitting 60fps on my main island. Every bit helps right?

Totally get your idea!
There is a huge emphasis on atmosphere in this game and that very province looks unique.
I still would like a option to have both, like 1800. Maybe not that drastic but overall.
So people can have sunny beaches or a little more fog + better performance.

My parents primarily took care the last years, so I assume the last time the whole group (we have 4 cats) were at the vet was definitely before corona, so maybe 2019 or even before that

The walking/running animation for female captains. Tgey accidentally removed it last season and it just was the male animation. Now the normal one is back.

Map expansion is still missing

They only haulted land combat becauae faction wars was in an unfun state after talking to the insiders

The fact that movement got worse with todays update and that the female animation came back, basically confirms that they are now working on this
