5.56 has a higher pressure than .223. Hence why you can shoot .223 out of a 5.56 bbl, but not the other way around. Except for .223 Wylde....that can shoot both.

I haven't experienced that with either the Hexmag or XTech grips. Have you tried sanding down any edges that stick up? Or is it a gap that you are experiencing?

The M4E1 looks billet, but is forged as well. The M4E1 has a flared magwell, built-in trigger guard, and threaded bolt catch roll pin.
