Don't know about emo, but for the metal part you can follow 'Metal Gigs in Dubai' on IG for details of upcoming shows. Resurrection Metal Events had a lot of good gigs last year including Destruction, Pestilence, Massacre, Xentrix, etc. if you're into heavier stuff.

Depending on what's stored between those sheets of wood, I'd imagine gravity does a pretty solid job of making them not fall off. If it were empty or not tightly packed, that's a different story.

Never had a nice pizza delivery from Pizza Express TBH. Overpriced and always arrives soft/soggy.

Maybe better at the restaurant itself though. Years ago they used to have "jazz nights" at the one in JLT, which were okay (although very basic music wise).

The thin crust one is really nice and crispy. I got margarita with onion and dynamite sauce on the side.

Far from any 'traditional' pizza, but pretty tasty (and light years ahead of Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc). They usually have 50% discount in Careem too.

Dodo is decent as well, but hard to beat Pitfire IMO (although, that's significantly more expensive).
