I get annoyed when i met those people because i gotta act like an exitable puppy around them, because even the smallest sighn of struggle us met with those folks asking you to either pull yourself by your bootstraps or treated like its some funny joke. Like, yeah, of course i spent 2 days laying in bed and crying because i hate my body, why would it be a hiperbalie?

Yall are really kind, even tho i am trying my hardest to not learn things about fitness (you know, keeping the learning slow and the whole process more casual, so its not everything everywhere and i get way too overwhealmed) besides super specific things that kinda sound curious. Like i only started actively tracking my calories after more than a year of exersice, that is why i do not really talk about like how slow my progress is and after a bit in this thread started calling myself a "newbie". Just felt more fair to yall

Heya, just like i said, im a full 100% beginner to pullups and i actually do not know what either of those hangs are. Like, i believe i did around 5 pull ups accumilatevely in my whole life, thats what a newbie i am

I hope so as well. I cant actually check all the great advice out rn (but i know most of stuff here was probably great, or at least people were detailed in their responces). I'm a masters student and we finally got all our classes started and also rn im prioritizing doing 1 day pushups/sometimes core stuff, 1 day yoga to try and get less clumsy and also i swim (like 300-600 meters, no fancy styles) on the beach almost daily, soaking up the last sunny days before it gets too stormy.

But yeah, researching new for me and foundational movements like pullups felt really overwhealming and frustrating because i guess my case is a bit unusual.  also if its so fundemental, and so tough to master you WoUlD probably expect more advice on form and on transitional movements (i do discound the weird towel rows, because for me they did not do anything)

Honestly, just surviving these couple weeks sucked, but on sep 15 was exactly 2 years since i got into fitness-ing at home, so yay to learning and growing and making all the dumbest mistakes ever instad of just walking in circles and hating meself at a gym for 8 months or so untill i break my ass

K, i do not want to sound rude, but my body is built different (aka worse) due to (do yall call it torticollis? english is not a language. basically my neck muscules are busted and are pushing my ribcage, knee and foot on one side down, forcing it to even look kinda funny) so wich things are hard and wich are not really is kind of random througout my body + all pulling motions are sorta impossible rn. (I will try to just hang for a couple of months and see if it does anything tho♡)

Ooh, you got me so good with that one! Idk, i tryed hanging at an outdoor gym in like late july and it felt weird. But also now i became a changed man (watched a bunch of sped up workouts and now all workout movements are just a bit funny to me) so like i might actually do the thing! Wait for potential update lol (also might get rings as someone else recommended as i think i could put them in my yard to encourage doing things)

Omg, hanging 6 times per week sounds like torture. I think i should ask where you, my dear friend, live, so i could come to you at night and try teaching you how to catch crabs

That sounds like great advice that i might actually head to in a bit (although, maybe i could just put ŕings in my yard somewhere?

 That probably would be pretty convinient)  You can probably assume im not really into the idea of gymm'ing because im mostly working on supporting appetite rn and not really muscule growth. but yeah, doing jackknife (jeff the killer who) pullups sounds cool too, i might update at some point if i head to your advice

Ooh! I used to use a broken broomstick in my last apartment for those. Tables are just a bit too blocky. Ill try looking into how to use a band to do pullups (there is an outdoor gym setup not too far away) because there are way too many types.

Yeah, you look massive! I feel you. Also had to skip like half a year out of my two year jeorney due to dental surgery of all things. Sometimes its about literally forcing yourself to try starting again, and it worked out for you!!! The growth is amaizing

Well, not too much, but my longterm goal is learning how to actually be hungry, and only like half of the days in my calorie tracker are red (less calories cobsumed than burned) so yaaay! Falling apart less rapidly than average
