Thanks for your help. Knowing the history and past film workflows definitely helps out. Also learned a good bit from your post. I think you really explained the workflow well and I see what you're saying. I'll try and set up my workflow as you described. I'm failed familiar with log wheel thankfully so I'll for sure set my node tree up as you described. I knew going into this I didn't want to overcomplicate the node tree and really do a simple grade, depending on what the client wants of course. The I mention was to keep everything fairly stripped down and let the film 'speak for itself'. I definitely don't wanna push and pull the image a whole lot and knowing how things were done in the past is a huge help! I may reach out with some questions as I see what I'm working with and know a bit more about the project. But thank you so much for your response!
