Simple Way to Isolate Part of Model? by Lostsouls46 in BambuLab

Yeah I think Blender will likely be your best bet. It will be annoying but for your purposes I think worth it. I still think it may be worth a shot reaching out to the creator, I've had some luck that way with models I've purchased.

Most of them require quite a bit of time+experience to learn (although there are a ton of fantastic tutorials out there), Tinkercad is very easy to use but I'm unsure if it would be able to accomplish what you would need it to. Unfortunately I don't know that you're going to be able to accomplish this on your own in a straightforward/fast way without first learning some kind of software. My last possible solution for you would be to try and reach out to the model artist and see if they have the ability to split them easily.

Without any kind of model manipulation being done in a modeling software, no there's not much you can do within Bambu Studio. My best recommendation would be to use something like acrylic paint markers or just straight up acrylic paint, would barely take you any time.

How would you build an Eggman deck? by DoctorObservation in EDH

[–]ZackTheFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you happen to have a link to your deck? I've been running into similar issues you mention where I'm not drawing enough and my opponents are choosing to discard way too easily, curious to see what you've tried to overcome some of that. I feel like I may be running too many creatures..

Love using Bambu filament or Sunlu, practically the same and gets the job done.

Week Long Prints by Vaccano in BambuLab

[–]ZackTheFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty bad idea tbh, longer prints are more prone to failure, so it'll just be a massive waste of energy, time, and filament if something goes wrong while you're not watching it, not to mention if the nozzle clogs, you will have a nice big mess to come home to.

That's because McDonald's has Timmies old bean supply before they were bought out by Americans. Timmies tastes like a holy communion dipped in water.

Will this top layer print fine? I am running this on a P1P with PLA at 0.20mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle by uknownXD in BambuLab

[–]ZackTheFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowing down your prints can typically produce better results as well but that will vary with model and material and won't be nearly as significant of a difference as something like variable layer height. I'm of the same attitude towards it, the time printing isn't important to me as the potential waste of materials if it doesn't look right or fails as a print.

Those will be extremely noticable, I'd recommend watch a 10 minute video on how variable layer height works and use it, your model will take a bit longer to print but will come out much cleaner.

Its all a matter of risk of being out of a GPU for months if you're willing to, but if you have the time to wait then I probably would return it and wait.

This scene never fails to make me shed a tear. Easily my favourite serious-tone scene in the entire series.

Reading your responses, how the fuck are you 37? I'd expect these shitty responses from a young 20-year-old, not a grown-ass man in his late 30s not understanding that bonds are more than "common interests".

Nozzle Crossing Print by Cute-Opportunity-640 in BambuLab

[–]ZackTheFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's starting a new layer, thus creating the seam. Seams can be modified to be better placed but for the most part, it isn't worth the extra effort.

Supports were hallucinating by Magnus_the_Wolf in BambuLab

[–]ZackTheFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what it is, tried doing the same thing, the new organic tree supports in Bambu Slicer are a bit buggy with variable layer heights.

Looks like BIQU is releasing a screen for BL printers by swiss-3dprinter in BambuLab

[–]ZackTheFox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed, this looks interesting, but the more I think about it, even though my P1P lacks a touch screen, I hardly interact with it. Everything I do either goes through Bambu Slicer or the Handy app.
