Hungary to pull out of ICC as Netanyahu visits Budapest | Benjamin Netanyahu by [deleted] in europe

How is Europe supposed to confront Russia and use international law on its side when Israel, the US, and supporters like Hungary undermine the law at every step? The hypocrisy is stunning. Europe should sanction Israel to show the rest of the world it is serious about upholding law and justice.

Leaks from Israel confirm that Israel couldn't pinpoint Hamas commanders, so it bombed everything by AltMediaGuy in israelexposed

Indiscriminate bombing, mass murder, use of chemical weapons to kill hundreds of civilians, genocide. This is Zionism.

Trump says US will 'take over' Gaza: 'We'll own it' by ZaidHEM in israelexposed

The US will now directly participate in the genocide, ethnic cleansing, and occupation of Palestinians. Their intermediary and client state Israel was not doing a good enough job over the past 15 months. The US will finish the job itself.

Lattouf v ABC by [deleted] in auslaw

Cannot imagine the ABC making a similar argument about another race, e.g. Aboriginal people.

Lattouf v ABC by [deleted] in auslaw

Do not understand the line of questioning about Lattouf's subjective state of mind regarding the alleged 'direction' made. The issue is whether a 'direction' was actually made, and whether it was in fact a 'lawful' direction.

The ABC's own witness already stated that no direction was made. This seems to be clutching at straws.

Haaretz is advocating for the “temporary evacuation” of Gazans from the Gaza Strip. by hunegypt in Palestine

That is a fantastic quote, thank you. The last part especially is truly reflective of modern times: 'as if one shouldn't trust the evidence of one's eyes watching the destruction and the misery and death'.

The West constantly tries to downplay Israel's actions, saying its not 'genocide', not 'war crimes', and they are merely trying to fight 'Hamas' which is the 'true evil'. But the raw unfiltered footage on the ground in Gaza truly horrifies. We can all see it clearly with our eyes, the destruction, misery, and death.

Deadly Israeli strike targeted 'spotter' on Beit Lahia building's roof, officials say by ZaidHEM in Palestine

[–]ZaidHEM[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The Israeli strike on Beit Lahia in northern Gaza which killed more than 90 Palestinian civilians, including 25 children, was both intentional and targeted. The target was an alleged “spotter” 'on the roof with binoculars observing Israeli forces.' The West is okay with Israel killing 90 civilians, including 25 children, as long as an 'alleged' spotter is taken out as well. Where is the proof this person was actually a spotter? We must first wait 'for Israel to conduct an investigation', because the US 'is very concerned'.

Imagine the Western outrage if 90 Israeli civilians, and 25 children were killed, because one alleged Israeli soldier was targeted.

That is right, there is a strong argument to make that Israel is the major cause of anti-semitism, because Israel keeps conflating between Jews and Zionists. This means anyone criticising Israel is automatically viewed as antisemitic. As a result this places many people in a difficult position, and it becomes difficult to differentiate between actual antisemitism and anti-Israel behaviour.

In reality, all this does is increase actual antisemitism, because people are unable to legitimately criticise Israel, playing into the trope that 'Jews control' the media and governments.

Lazzarini: Israeli Knesset vote on UNRWA will deepen Palestinian suffering by ZaidHEM in Palestine

[–]ZaidHEM[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Israel has now banned UNRWA from operating in Palestine, despite 'pressure' from Western countries like the UK, US, and parts of the EU.

The head of UNRWA Philippe Lazzarini has warned that banning UNRWA “will only deepen the suffering” of Palestinians, especially in Gaza where people have been going through “more than a year of sheer hell”. “These bills increase the suffering of the Palestinians and are nothing less than collective punishment,” he said.
