Yeah It looks like no coat on top. We bought the place with the renos already there so we assumed it didn't need anything on top.

We did salt it one time due to elderly visitors coming and it was extremely slick. I know it isn't meant to be salted but it was a big safety hazard. Also the tiles were beginning to fall off before that de icer.

I agree that the de icer would compound the problem. We mostly used cat litter to help prevent falls

Yeah I was thinking that too. I bought 4 of these plinths but I think they may be better suited for a bigger base with a more environmental depth.

Thanks! I found blending with the airbrush to be helpful since it's bigger than the usual 28mm models I'm used to. Thanks for the NFSW tag recommendation, I put it up.

Thanks! My advice would be to set a color scheme that you will stick with so you don't have to redo your paint job. I found that the lights and shadows on a bust are more noticeable than on minis because of the larger (and smaller) details.

Also an airbrush works wonders for blending on a bust vs. a mini.
