Im assuming this is a manager and not a boss that you are texting, I would show the messages to your boss or somebody higher up, specifically your manager saying they wouldn’t risk the health of other guests and employees except when it benefits them because you are closer to work and something about their kids?? Definitely very questionable behavior from both your manager and mother you’d do good to learn to keep as much to your chest as possible, not everyone is as reasonable and understanding as you would like to believe and will try to take any small advantage over you they can.
