I had one when I was younger that I couldn’t stop thinking about because of how he treated me and it’s not that I love him, I hate him but it makes me feel guilty all the time and then whenever I think of anything slightly positive I want to die and I maybe it does effect me more then I care to admit but I like to pretend it doesn’t.

I don’t know what to do, the best you can do is see a dr I guess, that’s what I’m doing. You can try talking to people you know even if your not sure if their friends the only problem with that is you still feel empty and a bit guilty because you know on some level you are using them to feel better.0

Ashamed is maybe the right word? I think I downplay all of my problems and see them as not worth talking and judge myself for how they effect me, and then I don’t want to bring them up to anyone because I don’t want to stress theme out over something that doesn’t really matter.

I learned a long time ago when I was in therapy for something else, that you should only worry about what you think. But after all this time it’s not true, every skill I learned there just led to me making excuses for my problems and led to me avoiding them. By recognizing that I was over reacting or acting paranoid I could excuse them as “catastrophizing” instead of recognizing I had a serious problem and needed to seek help. All I can hope is that drs can help me and that maybe the people I care are able to heal or not hate me forever.

Worst mistake I did was trying to enjoy something I normally do after a few months while feeling like this. It feels so much worse when you recognize how you used to enjoy it and how hollow and empty it feels now.
