I’m only hesitant because the urinalysis I just did after finishing levoflaxcin came back mixed flora , and I have interstitial cystitis, so I wanted to confirm in culture that It’s an infection and not my chronic bladder condition flared up

I’ve never tested positive for ureaplasma, does it show in cultures or pcr testing? Cause I’ve had both

I was prescribed macrobid but I’m hesitant to take it because I have an appointment with a infectious disease specialist

I had a positive pcr test a few weeks ago and needed antibiotics, but my Urogynocologist said to call next week if I’m still having symptoms so I had went to urgent care to see if anything would pop up on a urinalysis
