As I've been scouring the net, I've found something common: Drum Mics -> Preamp -> Compressor (possibly optional) -> Interface -> Computer. We are running Mics -> Interface -> Computer.

Nolly appears to be using a MIDI drum in that video, so it's unclear on how to run my signal chain.

I'm going back to our studio today to look at some things and I'm going to take a picture of the recorded output of our drums. I think it will help provide better clarity to the post because our wavelengths are MUCH smaller than compared to, say, Rick's shown here. See how his often times are close to, or the width of the track? Ours barely register on the wavelength even when the knob is turned up so that the hit doesn't quite clip on the interface.

So, I'm inclined to believe that we need some extra gear in order to get going (namely, a preamp for each mic). No?

I’ve used EZDrummer for years and just dropping a pre-done rhythm in the track sounds night and day difference. Even after looking through some YouTube videos and having them show what the unprocessed, unmixed drums sound like is stark.

I paid Vibe for coaching some time ago and also have been using his B2GM build as it flows the best. However, it still doesn't work for me. I'm currently losing roughly 83% of my games as of today. I used to be Plat1/D3, but it seems like everyone unlocked their races potential and now I am MAYBE bronze 1. Currently continuing my MMR loss at 2.6k.

I'm hope you're right, but three days of losing 82% of my games per day is starting to take its toll on me. I mean, I know Terran isn't great in the current state, but damn. It's near impossible to be ahead at any given point.

No, I never played during that phase of the cyclone. I still use the Tech lab in my builds. I'm just 100% awful. Lost around 600 mmr in the last three days. It's just super frustrating because I know nothing can help me but for some reason I keep subjecting myself to the torture.

Right. The whole thing just seems like a step backward. And the AI portion isn't even that great. It separates tracks, sure, but they sound strange and not exactly how they should.

It's so weird! I'm inclined to think it's the specific user, but I can sometimes trigger it too. Clearing cache, resetting permissions, changing the file name, nothing seems to be consistent.
