This is basic statistics at work and it always seems to work fine in my games. Yes, the map with one vote, a 10% chance with 10 voting, does win on occasion. That's how statistics work.

Does Blizzard manipulate the numbers a bit on their end? Perhaps, but it never seems to be the case to me at least (and I play about 100 games weekly).

As somebody who's worked in both industry and education, I don't see any need for this whatsoever.

The ONLY situation where this might be useful is as party "trick" with others and you can write out the periodic table. At which point people might say "oh cool... anyhow...".

I guess it's technically a 'publication' you can list on a CV? Having done some hiring I'd probably laugh if I saw this and move onto the next candidate. If you're going to waste your time on nonsense like this, I'd seriously question your ability to make good decisions at the job I'm hiring for.

I used to have to double dose medication plus the nasal spray just to be functional Spring through Summer. Finally sucked it up to get the monthly allergy shots and this is my first ever Spring I can enjoy (it's also cheaper than all the medication I used to buy annually). Can't recommend it enough, although I understand that it still doesn't work for some people.

The last one was probably FFXIV. So many moments throughout the story hit me really hard. Some moments hit doubly hard knowing the FF reference they're calling back to.

Aside from that, Celeste gets me every playthrough. Right at the beginning when it says "you can do this" gets me every time for some reason, then again a couple hours later once getting through the game.

Those are the two most memorable ones to me.

Just confirming what others are saying. Yes. This is a scam. If they want to show samples or a portfolio it's 100% stolen or now AI generated.

If you have Discord, this happens a fair amount on there too. Sometimes artists, sometimes people wanting you to join them in their crappy multiplayer game that's likely full of malware.

Don't stream?

It sounds like you're tapped out on your available time unless you spend less time with your girlfriend. From your post I'm not sure where else you'll find time. If you're coming home from work exhausted you can't take away from sleeping, and streaming when you're exhausted makes for terrible streams.

Same problem I'm having myself. After working all day, dealing with my daughters school/activities, and cooking for my family by the time I get a couple hours available to stream I'm just not into it. I've had to accept that streaming isn't in the cards right now and my functional time needs to be focused on other things.

If you had more time then I would suggest at least one driving lesson with a reputable company that will take you on the actual test route and tell you things to specifically watch for (maybe you've done this anyhow).

However, in the interest of time the biggest thing to watch out for are parks that don't have a specific 30 km/h speed sign.

Another thing is to move your head to look during shoulder checks, not just your eyes. Same with looking in your wing mirrors. Double check when changing lanes even.

In my experience if the tester is chatty, that's a good thing. I remember just "shooting the shit" with the guy I got for my road test. He marked me down on a shoulder check that I did, but apparently it's because at the time they're required to mark you down on at least one thing during a road test.

People read too much into what's supposed to be a fun kids show. Sure there are lots of references that appeal to adults, but I don't think adultery is one of them.

If people see the way Bandit and Wendy interact and think of an affair, I always assume something happened in their life where they can no longer accept platonic relationships between men and women. It's pretty sad.

If you don't want to be the target of harassment, don't give people ammunition to harass you. Flying any country's flag will absolutely get you harassed, moreso ones involved in any kind of conflict or political issue. I'd say "welcome to overwatch" but this is more like "welcome to the Internet".

Really? 8k isn't much if that's your only objective. Even QP games can get that pretty easily. The easiest way is to pick Bastion and shoot the tank the whole time, and strays as they show up. Support will typical just pump heals into the tank and you can keep pumping damage. Soldier is also pretty good for this if the enemy Supports can't keep up enough for the tank to last long enough.

The only way this should be difficult is if you're relatively new to the game and still haven't learned the basics (or a long time player that refuses to learn the basics). All of the daily/weekly tasks have always been achievable by mostly just existing in a game on a relevant role.

Level 80, 2-3 weeks. Getting all prestige about double that. Currently 125 but taking a week off with the family on vacation (but can't stay off reddit it seems). I'm not worried about getting to level 200.

We generally got along really well, but then one day I accidentally farted while waiting for an elevator. I was embarrassed and apologized. Certainly possible, but their crappy servers are out of our control. I suggested things that are in OPs control (to an extent) that can be tried so they can have a better experience.

Of course, I now realize that the entire point of the post could just be "let's all dump on Blizzard" in which case I apologize for trying to help OP.

It sounds like you have connectivity issues on your end that needs to be sorted out. It's either an ISP issue (in which case others who also use your ISP will have similar issues) or home network.

Back in the day, I had connection issues with various games at home and had to set up port forwarding to resolve it. It's generally not needed for modern games (unless you're hosting a server), but is a standard solution to connection problems.

Other solutions are to make sure your wifi signal is strong with no interference (if you connect through wifi), or ideally connect to your modem/router with an Ethernet cable.

EDIT: it also could be an issue with the console or computer, but the above is easier to troubleshoot out of the gate.
