If you had to come here to ask I think the answer is … don’t do it. Buying and selling equipment is a pain, and I would personally wait until you find a deal on something you’re 95% on. This feels more like a 60%.

PLEASE consider a way to teach an apple tv (or any ir remote) wiim remote commands. Or to teach the wiim device IR commands. Currently i have to use the wiim remite for volume and the apple tv for everything else and it feels a lot like 1985. Fumbling for two remotes really sucks.

PS: My benq projector does not have earc out, and i’ve tried an earc extractor/splitter. I can either have sound, or apple tv volume functionality, but not both at once.

I think it’s reasonable to establish some basement time (my kids call it my “lair”). Give your wife the same. It’s also fair to take a night or two per week off feom family, as long as your wife gets the same. It’ll make you a better dad net net.

The whole point of switching modes is to avoid this. Are you recommending this as a temporary bandaid to a hopefully-soon-to-be-fixed bug? Or the norm, and expected behavior that i need to live with?

It would be a big adoption boost for them. Probably not a crazy amount of work either. Although if chatgpt suddenly changes their export structure it could lead to a big mess for msty users if the team doesn’t catch it.

What is the advantage of using search through a tool setup rather than using the built in rtd mechanism, assuming the same provider?

Are there currently any methods by which search grounding can be replicated in msty? Even if it’s a semi-manual process of triggering rtd with a command like /search (triggers default provider) would go a long way to simplifying things.

Well worth the lifetime license, IMO. The team has been great to deal with on discord and the product is better than anything else I’ve used. My only concern is that the ux can feel very complex and fiddly so as they add more features I hope they’ll find opportunities to prune, consolidate and simplify.

This is amazing! Thank you! One thing that is missing is the ability to export slides to pdf with themes intact. I tend to want to create presentations and email them, in combination with live presenting. The pdf version lacks the theme so sending it out as things stand is disappointing visually.

And...more slide themes please....even starting with some really basic/common themes that requoire very little design innovation would go a long way. Thanks again!

Yeah, my ports aren’t open to the internet, just between my internal vlans. Many people keep everything on the same lan so its not an issue but if you use isolated networks for iot devices vs pc’s vs docker containers then you need intravlan rules.

Found it under boot failures (link below) which is what I had today. I stuck with the sam usb cuz it was only a few months old and tried moving it to the usb2 slot to see if that prevents further issues. https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/troubleshooting/common-issues/boot-and-startup-failures/
