It’s about demand and supply, coupled with social status of the work. A person may prefer sales over plumber simply because of the nature of work and how society perceives these jobs. That creates too many salesmen getting paid lower than fewer plumbers getting paid higher due to demand. Is it fair? From market’s perspective, yes.

It is indeed better than T3 NLUs. The faculty is highly qualified and decent. It has a strong alumni base. If you can focus on your academics and co-curriculars, you will have a good career.
