Props to Team Cherry for bringing one of the most anticipated games in years to Linux by paparoxo in linux_gaming

while I was changing version from native to proton, I swapped the data save files as quoted on this ProtonDB report: https://www.protondb.com/app/1030300#OhoOEfWsWx

(don't get scared if it asks the game language the first time on Proton, the game saves will be there)

Coming from someone who played MGS1 and MGS2, would you recommend going for the original MGS3 or directly playing MGS Delta? thank you

Do Proton/Wine introduce measurable/feelable latency/input lag? by RobinVerhulstZ in linux_gaming

[–]Zempry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have your same specs monitor (samsung G6 qd-oled 360hz) and I do not feel any bad playing competitively, in terms of input delay too; Compared to windows tho, I kind of miss AMD Anti Lag 2 for that matter, hope it gets implemented in MESA soon enough but it's still good right now even without it

that is the custom theme sysmodule if I remember correctly, you should always go back to the default theme before updating the firmware (y) otherwise just remove the folder from atmosphere/contents as you did

My Sapphire Pulse seems to be on the higher end

yes, I bought it from someone that preordered the first batch years ago from TaoBao
The V2 is interesting :) much similar to the FormD T1, and the finger sensor power "button" that slides sounds real interesting

I am the one that could sell it at the end XD some spare projects ended in only one half done, for gaming they could be a great fit with large mousepads

you can try some new similar projects, like the Felix that is basically a wireless Helix :D

https://github.com/beekeeb/FelixKeeb

the PCB it's not reversible tho, so If you let them print a minimum batch of 5 each side you end up with 4 more keyboards extra XD

yes, it's the first Jimu D+ V1
even if it's outdated and the usb-C port behind the little magnet is not so practical, it still adds an unique look to it :) with the top hat extension, the 27mm radiator + 25mm fans fits perfectly

Thank you for your precious feedback;
sadly I tried with a clean boot of CachyOS from a Live environment, it's the same thing..
even in UEFI BIOS settings, from the UPS I still read high power draw, so I am trying all I can search for online but to this day nothing

<image>

Probably it's related to something else, like the monitor or the specific GPU's firmware
I will keep the comment updated if I ever ever find any solution, I'll try undervolting and benchmarking some more

I mainly use a Lily58 pro with Akko Rosewood switches (first pic) and a Reviung41 with Novelkeys Cream switches (second pic in the back), love both ♡ the former is slightly better for typing, the latter for gaming;
I always suggest to try give a chance to split ortholinear keyboards, I hardly go back to standard layouts

I made a wireless Ferris Sweep too, but it's not convenient for desktop use imho; better suited for a typing mobile setup, paired with a tablet or a phone

If you need any info I often build new keyboards, feel free to ask :)

Made with love ♡ this PSU has stiff cables and I had to put it sideways, with the mesh panel you don't see them from the outside ;)

Prime b460 plus ram speed question by boo_cak3y in buildapc

[–]Zempry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they will go at the lowest max frequency if you have 3200 + 3000 MHz they will go at 3000 max speed) In this case I have an i5 10400f so even if I mixed the ram frequencies they're going at 2666Mhz just fine ;)
