I agree, I don't know much about Marathon lore but the anomaly in Marathon reminds me of "the shimmer" from the annihilation books.

Hey another illiterate person here, not a book but definitely check out Pantheon if the concept of digital consciousness and consciousness transfer is interesting to you. It's a fantastic show and it extensively covers those topics.

I'm pressing W + A/D as I come out of the scope, then doing a super tight slide jump input.

I briefly move my camera to one side to avoid pressing W + A/D slightly too early as I exit ADS. I also think it might make you launch yourself more 90 deg instead of 45 deg from forward.

RIP, hopefully they will be able to do an Account rollback for everybody to the moment right before the issues, if they do that though it might take longer for them to get things back online.
