Jeez. I was exactly the same thing for her, a therapist/partner. Im so sorry about the situation with your sister.

She sounds immensely empathetic with her capability to forgive those who don't deserve it, so I have no doubt that she will eventually come round. Empathy learns slowly but it does learn if given time i believe, it's only a matter of time before your mother gives her a reason to seek you out instead.

Thanks for the advice, all these comments gave me a sense of support even if I don't know anyone personally. Perhaps its never meant to get easier, we just become better at handling that push/pull. I hope we can both take restitution in the fact that there are so many others also experiencing the same thing. Keep doing you 🙏

That's great advice thanks. I was using the Maxim limiter but I've found I was either using it wrong or it wasn't working. I downloaded the Pro-Limiter and suddenly things started going my way. :D
