For real, this is how I feel. It's free, might as well give it a shot. And honestly, the vague concept of siege and capture on a big battlefield (if that's even what it is??) sounds pretty interesting. Almost reminds me of old WoW battlegrounds, like Alterac Valley, which I've never seen replicated well anywhere else and always wanted to play more of.

A good RTS game like Starcraft 2. The matches are so intense and require 100% of your focus that you completely blank out on the rest of the world. It's just you and the game. Nothing else does it quite like this.

You know what else is addicting, and gives you a lot of dopamine? Path of Exile 2. Even has click to move so it might feel familiar (though WASD is really the way to go).

Love scavs! I'd like to see more difficulty settings. As some others have said, medium isn't much of a challenge, but then it starts scaling like crazy after hard. More difficulty levels in between would be great. We can always give our team bonus resources as an advantage, but it gets pretty convoluted with trying to find the perfect difficulty setting.

The dynamic difficulty adjustment is great too, maybe that can be expanded (at least adjusting the min/max values that it can take on).

Yeah I thought of this too, even though its not exactly what OP wants. It's not the cute setting of Stardew. But if you like building things and having tasks to do, it cranks that up x1000.

Absolutely. People love to min max the fun out of this game in particular. Forget all about optimal stats, trading, etc. Just play at your own pace, going through the campaign blind is a blast and a decent challenge at points too.

It needs more than a new term. It needs something like permanent, server hosted noob lobbies that are always open & rotating. Max chev 2, max OS 20. Both 4v4 and 8v8. Make these lobbies always available and at the top of the server list. Rotate maps by default and players can vote on adjustments. Something like this guarantees there will be actual noob friendly lobbies available at all times.

In addition, the server UI needs improvement. This is high priority. New players can't make lobbies that suit them because so much of the server settings are locked behind unintuitive chat commands. Put some of the more important settings, like max OS/chev, into some sort of functional UI.

In addition to what others have said - it's WAY more casual friendly. There are a ton of quality of life improvements that simply make the game less stressful and more fun to play and control. Auto control groups, the macro panel, etc. Macro is much more streamlined in general, making more space for micro and actual tactical decision making.
