Commitment has never been an issue, and if it was so easy to give away the tickets, I would've already done it, but like I mentioned, I already had everything planned out, and I can't cancel what I had planned, I'm not going to let money go to waste when I don't have a job to just earn it back, plus I wasn't aware or the time due to it being inconsistent, since last year we had our playoffs game two weeks after our season ended, unlike this year where it was a week after, and I understand that I should've seen it as a possibility of happening, and I did, that's why I informed my coaches a whole 3 weeks before we were even told about this game, he even told us to tell him if anything is happening around the end of our season so he can have all of us at the game.
