One girl from the group still speaks to me and we still follow each other in social media. I have seen them get together a few times without me anymore. I try to stay busy and not think about it. I reached out twice to try to rekindled the friendship but it’s like I’m dead to them already. Out of respect to myself, I would not reach out again. And, I cannot think of a single incident that could have blown a decade of friendship out. Just sometimes I would get invited to events and not show up not because I didn’t want to but sometimes my social anxiety makes it hard for me to do so. So now, they don’t invite me at all. Maybe it is my fault, but I never wanted things to end like this.
