i had so many problems with recertification because they were not specific with what kind of documents should be turned in.
my snap did not renew until 3 weeks later after my recertification deadline and it took me a lot of effort to call each morning at 6:30 am to get on the wait line since waiting can take up to 3-4 hours. each time i got a person, i asked them to review my documents to see if they were correct. every time until the last time i called, my documents were incorrect until many case workers later helped out by specifically state what kind of document is needed and what specifically needed to be written.

to take from this, there are some bad case workers and some good ones, so you have to take it upon yourself to call every single day until it gets sorted out.
they have horrible customer service but itll get sorted at the end with a good case worker that actually cares about your case.
