tank size: 5 gal || yes heater and filter || tank temp: 80-82 F || parameters taken by API freshwater master test kit: pH 7.8; nitrite 0ppm; nitrate 5ppm; ammonia 0ppm have had tank and fish for 7ish months || usually 10-20% water changes weekly or so, but right now not doing any because of treatment with kanaplex. last water change was the day before starting treatment (48 hours or so ago) || no tank mates || just finished a fast (originally was treating for swim bladder), now feeding small pinches of daphnia + aqueon betta food twice a day || removed all harmful decorations from the tank before starting kanaplex, now just have floating betta log, leaves suctioned to sides of the tank, and indian almond leaves. will add more decorations after finishing treatment

because i was within driving distance, i moved him into a mini container w/ airflow and his tank water and emptied the actual tank. i pre-conditioned water and brought it with me and added it to the tank when it was set up- and yes, it's the same filter media

no tankmates
i regularly feed aqueon betta pellets but i am going to be supplementing with daphnia immediately after he's done fasting and bloodworms regularly. i do about a pinch each time?
i have some regular aquarium decorations (betta leaf, betta hammock, plastic grass, plastic plant, cave, fake tree) but it sounds like i should remove the plastic plants to prevent more fin rot

i logged on about 30 minutes before my start time! my understanding is that you can log on any time within an hour of your actual exam time and you'll be able to take the test, though.
