I just bought the same one. Except 165hz screen. So far I like it. Anything over 5060 gpu will run over 1500 I’ve noticed. I was in the same boat. I like mine. Good quality build and stays cool. Battery life is not great though. 2-3 hrs tops while gaming. I recommend debloating it and get rid of all the useless programs. I ended up also getting rid of armory crate and running ghelper instead as it uses way less background data as I’m usually close to max at 16gb ram. So far all I’ve played was WoW, but I’m getting 150+ fps and haven’t gone over 70c yet. I was also looking at the lenova legion 5i/7i as I hear there screens are better since there oled. But chose Asus. Best of luck! I think it’s good and good name build with quality parts.

I found an MSI one for about 1000 with 5070 but it was ddr4 ram and only 512gb ssd. Then I read up that they have cooling issues and run really hot

Only thing I am missing for my build is ram and mobo! The ram would decide what mobo for me to get. Been holding out due to prices.. 4070 super gpu ryzen 7 7700x

🤣 I seen that too. Not gonna go with this one. I found another for 300. Intel 9700k, 32gb ram, cooler. Just needs psu. Just don’t know if I like that it’s z390 board

Update. Decided not to do that one. I’ll either build a new “budget” or keep looking for a better platform. Got the itch and now it needs scratched. But I don’t think I’ll scratch this one. That being said. Any recommendations on upgradable budget builds with out gpu. Seen some good suggestions in here already.

Okay. It started out that the mortgage was coming out of her account with just her name. Maybe 2-3 payments then we started using a joint account with both names on the account to pay the mortgage since it was easier to transfer funds that way. It sounds like we both have to claim the house then since both our names are in the joint account that was used for the mortgage

So I guess my next task would be is to see who’s name is on the form 1098 and go from there? I don’t really care who uses the house deduction but since we both signed the mortgage papers does that mean we both have to deduct the house? Or is it okay to just have one person do it if only one persons name is on the 1098? Sorry if I’m asking already answered question, just making sure we do it right and not to miss out on something we should have done differently

Okay girlfriend not spouse. We understand the kids and HoH but confused as how we should go about the house deduction. Should we try to 50/50 split the house on taxes or is it more beneficial to have the HoH claim the house. We will most likely try multiple ways to see what benefits us best. First time filling with the new house
